- Attendance of the two mandatory Winter School lectures. Physical condition for breaking trail over this length and elevation gain. Microspikes.
Join us Sunday in snowshoeing in the fresh snow to one of the 52-with-a-view peaks, Eastman Mtn. in the eastern White Mountains! (Sorry for the short notice - we planned this after conditions spoiled an earlier plan.)
We have extra pairs of snowshoes for you, but you would need to bring your own microspikes (which means buying them if you do not already have them). We have spaces for you in a car; you will not need to drive.
Route: 8.6 mi, 2650 ft. gain. We might be breaking trail the whole way. Map: https://caltopo.com/m/9A91P
We will leave Cambridge at 6am so that we can hike at a comfortable pace. We'll stop for a quick breakfast along the way.
