We'll be heading up to the Bigelow Preserve in Maine for a weekend of canoeing on Flagstaff Lake! We'll drive up Friday night and camp on the west end of the lake, paddle to an island for Saturday night, and finish crossing to the east end of the lake on Sunday before driving back to Boston Sunday night.
You must be able to swim and have been camping before, and previous canoeing or other paddling experience is a plus.
The trip and number of participants are dependent on having cars that can transport tandem canoes. Note that the current forecast is for rain both Saturday and Sunday - trip may be cancelled closer to the date if the forecast is for thunderstorms or strong winds.
