Prerequisites
Have done a winter hike before

We'll be hiking Kearsarge North (not to be confused with Mount Kearsarge!), paying a visit to the fire tower atop the mountain! The fire tower has an incredible 360 degree view, and the forecast is looking clear, so cross your fingers it stays that way.

At the top we'll make some nice warm drinks to battle the cold, which is forecast to be in the 10-20 degree range. In the past we've brought hot cocoa, but we're hoping to broaden our horizons with some more choices this time around!

This is a 6.4mi out and back trail with ~2500ft of elevation gain. There hopefully won't be too much new snow, and this being a popular trail, it should be fairly broken out already and not require snowshoes. Microspikes will be required! There will be a mandatory pre-trip meeting on Thursday at 6pm to review weather, gear, and rideshares. Please reach out with any questions!
