Prerequisites
Strong hiking ability with comparable winter hiking experience (8+ miles) of >2000ft elevation gain in the last year

Join us for a classic loop hike across the summits of Mount Webster (3,910 ft), Mount Jackson (4,052 ft), and Mount Pierce (4,310 ft)! The hike is 8.6 miles with 3,200’ elevation gain (https://caltopo.com/m/J0MU8). We will hopefully have some good views at the top, weather pending.

Expect some snowshoe practice and perhaps some crampon use depending on the trail conditions. This trip is appropriate for experienced hikers who have done similar distances in the winter (8+ miles).

There is a mandatory pre-trip meeting at 6:00 pm this Thursday on the 4th floor of Stratton Student Center outside MITOC office. We will discuss clothing and gear requirements.
