Join us for jumping jacks on Jackson and a classic loop hike that includes two NH 4-thousand footers and a 52 with-a-view (WAV) peak. Our route takes us 8.6 miles with 3,200’ elevation gain across the summits of Mount Webster (3,910’), Mount Jackson (4,052’), and Mount Pierce (4,310’). Weather permitting (and it's looking sunny!), we will enjoy wonderful views of the Presidential Range and over Crawford Notch to the Willey Range.

We will travel over fairly steep terrain. This trip is appropriate for strong hikers with comparable winter hiking experience (8+ miles).
There is a mandatory pre-trip meeting at 6:00 pm on Thursday 1/18 in 4th floor at Stratton Student Center outside MITOC office (W20-461). We will send further logistics in the evening after the lottery runs.
