Join us on an introductory XC skiing trip ~35min away from Cambridge, at Weston ski track. This is a beginner-friendly trip, we shall learn the basics and will ski around the Weston track (they make their own snow, so we are not weather-dependent!), and hopefully some fields around as well. We shall leave Cambridge at 10am, ski 11am-1pm, and plan to be back in Cambridge around 2pm.
Prerequisites: have warm clothes, attend a mandatory pre-trip meeting Thursday (unless you have your own XC gear), 01/18, at 6pm at MITOC office. We shall be renting XC skis and boots / poles.
This trip has an additional fee (not reimbursed) of $13 for a track pass, that you will have to purchase on your own, before going on this trip. In case MITOC runs out of XC skis, you might need to rent at Weston track ($22).
