A critical skill for anyone climbing anything (rock, ice, glaciers, trees), ascending the rope helps you get past hard moves, get back to the wall after falling off of overhangs, and get to your partner when things go south. We'll talk about a couple different ways to ascend, and we'll practice the method most widely applicable and useful. This will be held either at the MIT Bouldering Wall or nearby, and we'll announce the location beforehand. Please only sign up for this event if you are in School of Rock or have previously been approved to join this course.
