Grab your microspikes (or rent from MITOC) and join us for a hike up Mt. Hedgehog this Sunday! While we can't guarantee a hedgehog sighting*, we're planning to have a blast the first weekend of Winter School on this lovely loop hike with a view (weather permitting).

The trail is a little under 5 miles with ~1400 ft of elevation gain. We'll leave Cambridge early Sunday morning ~5:30am. The forecast on Sunday is looking pretty cold (below 0F with windchill) so we'll practice layering, traction, more layering, eating lots of winter-friendly calorie-dense hedgehog snackies, maybe some delayering, and then more layering! If you've never hiked in winter before, this trip will be a great intro.

*pretty sure hedgehogs don't live in the whites and if they do they're probably hibernating, sorry to disappoint. But you should still sign up for our hike. :)
