Join us on this beginner-friendly trip to check out the MA-NH state border while hiking Mt. Watatic! We will follow the Wapack Loop that will take us up the mountain, over to Nutting Hill, and then on to the MA-NH state border. The full hike is about 3.6 miles with ~725ft of elevation gain. If the weather is clear we should have 360-degree views on the summit with a potential view of the Boston skyline!

This is an excellent intro to winter hiking trip! You will get to practice your layering technique, potentially use microspikes (depending on conditions), and making sure to maintain your triangle of happiness.

Mt. Watatic is just a little over an hour outside of Cambridge and we plan to leave around 8:45AM. We will eat lunch on the summit and will likely be back to the parking lot around 2PM.
