Have you found yourself questioning the existence of Vermont? Join us Sunday to head northwest and see for ourselves.
We will hike up Mt. Ascutney along Windsor Trail, a 5.4 mile round trip with 2,500 feet of elevation gain. While the hike is beginner friendly, note that current weather predictions are snow showers and 10° F temps. We will bring microspikes and possibly snowshoes.
Mandatory pre-trip meeting: 6pm before the safety lecture on Thursday. We'll do gear rental then too.
Departure: ~6am this Sunday from W20. The drive is around 2½ hours.
