Please join us on a Sunday hike to Cannon Mtn., a 4000-footer in the White Mountains with a great view of the Franconia Ridge! Our route goes up a ladder on Hi-Cannon Trail, through a restaurant with hot chocolate, and down a different route (Kinsman Ridge Trail). We will bring crampons in addition to microspikes for safety, since there are steep sections that might be icy - so this will be an introduction to crampons (prior experience not necessary!)
We'll leave Cambridge early, and stop for a quick breakfast along the way.
Route: 5 miles, 2350 ft. elevation gain, climbs a ladder. Map: https://caltopo.com/m/0L3QG

Participants will share car costs (about $120/car). If you can drive your own car or are willing to drive a rental car, please edit the lottery preferences on your MITOC profile to show this.
