Prerequisites
Winter boots and microspikes (can be rented from MITOC, but only on Thursday at 6pm). Physical condition for a hike of this length and elevation gain.

Please join us on a Sunday hike to Carter Dome and Mt Hight in the White Mountains! We’ll start by heading up Nineteen Mile Brook Trailhead to Carter Moriah Trail to summit Carter Dome, ascend to Mt. Hight, and then descend via Zeta Pass and back to Nineteen Mile Brook Trail for a partial loop. It is a reasonably difficult hike, but should have great views of the Presidential Range from Mt Hight (weather permitting), and Carter Dome is on the 4000-footer list. And we'll enjoy cookies together at the summit : )

We'll leave Cambridge very early, and stop for a quick breakfast along the way.

The route is roughly 10.2 miles with 3600 feet of elevation gain.
