Join us on Saturday 12/16 for a classic loop hike that includes two NH 4000 footers and a 52 with-a-view (WAV) peak. Our route takes us 8.6 miles with 3,200’ elevation gain across the summits of Mount Webster (3,910’), Mount Jackson (4,052’), and Mount Pierce (4,310’). Weather permitting, we will enjoy wonderful views of the Presidential Range and over Crawford Notch to the Willey Range. We'll plan to leave Cambridge bright and early Saturday morning at 5 am!
You can see the route here: https://caltopo.com/m/J0MU8
We will travel over fairly steep terrain. This trip is appropriate for strong hikers with comparable hiking experience (even if outside the winter season). You must have attended Winter School lectures in a previous year or have a leader rating of coB or greater to come on this trip. We may need to reprioritize signups to ensure we have enough drivers.
There is a mandatory pre-trip meeting at 8 pm on Thursday 12/14 on Zoom.

- Notes
- Please describe your hiking experience (winter and/or 3-season).
- Have you done a hike of 10+ miles and/or 8+ hours duration, and if so, when?
- Do you have your own microspikes and winter hiking boots? (MITOC office is currently closed for rentals)
- Do you have your own snowshoes? (Not strictly necessary, since we've got a couple of pairs across the group already, but we want to be good trail citizens and want to be able to fix any postholes! The 1.7mile section between Webster and Jackson may not be broken out.)
