In this workshop we'll be winterizing our bikes.

Some tasks you can tackle in this workshop include: 1. Cleaning your bike 2. Strategically adding wax, grease and oil to the protect your bike from the elements 3. Airing up your tires 4. Adjusting your shifters and brakes

If you want to get fancy, our volunteers can also help you: 1. Install new tires (that you purchase and bring) 2. Install a new chain + cassette (that you purchase and bring) 3. True your wheels

We will also have replacement cables and cable housing that can be purchased through MITOC ($3 per cable)

The MITOC office (MIT W20-461). Stratton Student Center.

MITOC has some bike tools, but you're welcome to supplement by bringing your own. If you bring your own tools to the workshop, we encourage you to use nail polish or paint to mark them so they don't get misplaced.
