Why become a desk worker?

-To earn desk credit that you can spend on MITOC portion of the trip fees (Acadia, circuses, etc.), gear and cabin rentals, and MITOC schwag

-To get more involved in MITOC and help MITOCers get outside!

-To interact with a broader MITOC community

-To check out and return the gear on your own avoiding the queue at the desk.

Please bring a laptop or tablet (not just a phone) and try to arrive ~5 minutes early to get checked in.

We will cover rental policy and procedures, gear location in the office, difficult questions during office hours, and anything/everything else about desk shifts.

If you are already a deskworker but would like a refresh on rentals at the office and using the gear database, you are welcome to join too!
