Schedule

Tentative schedule for Saturday:

  • 9:30ish-10:30ish: Some prep work in the office, vacuuming sawdust off shelves, sweeping, making staging areas, etc. (just 2-3 folks for this would be ideal)
  • 10:30am-11:30: Picking up the uhaul, anyone else who is here can start pulling gear out of the boathouse for moving.
  • ~11:30: uhaul at the boathouse and moving can begin (As many hands as possible!)
  • 1pm Lunch break (We'll get sandwiches delivered)
  • ~3pm: Hopefully everything fits in the uhaul and we can transition to unloading at the office (As many hands as possible!)
  • Basically, if you're coming by between 11-3pm try the boathouse first, if you're coming before or after that try the office first!
  • There will be scones and snacks for the morning and we'll get lunch for folks who are around in the afternoon

Tentative Sunday Schedule (assuming Saturday goes to plan):

  • 9:30am - evening: Start work unpacking and organizing the office, we plan to work all day (As many hands as possible!)
  • We'll have coffee, breakfasty things, lunch, and maybe even dinner if we go late

If you are free the weekend of the 28th please come help us move gear from the boathouse to the office and unpack gear from storage

The student center has reopened! Over the last two weeks a dedicated team has put in a huge effort to reinstall shelving, and reorganize the space. We're now ready to move all the gear back from the boathouse to the office!

Signing up for this trip will help us get a headcount for planning. It will also help you get desk credit. Even showing up for an hour or two would be immensely helpful!

Tasks will include:

  • Loading boathouse gear into a uhaul
  • Checking in each item in the database as it's placed in the truck (We especially need desk worker help with this!!)
  • Unloading said uhaul at the student center
  • Unpacking gear from summer storage
  • Putting away and organizing everything

You'll receive:

  • Food/snacks of some sort! (Maybe Pizza? Or Flour pastries?)
  • Eternal gratitude
  • You'll also get desk credit for your time which you can use for trip fees, rentals, purchasables, WFA/WFR!

We'll likely be working the majority of both days, but possibly less if the weather is nice, since we all want to go outside too 😁 We'll email out more details about timing closer to this weekend.
