Summary
Join us on a day hike to Mt. Chocorua in the white mountains. At 3480 ft, its bare peak offers views of the surrounding lakes, mountains, and forests. The hike is planned for Saturday, Sept. 16, but may get switched to Sunday depending on the weather forecast.
Trip Details
This out-and-back hike will start from the Champney Falls Trailhead, and proceed along a brook, with waterfalls along the way. There will be some short steep sections and switchbacks approaching the summit, but an easy and well-maintained trail overall.
We'll leave Cambridge at 7:30am in the morning of to allow enough daylight for the hike and drive back home after the hike.
Difficulty
The trail is well maintained, and 8 miles long with 2,267 ft elevation gain.

There will be a mandatory pre-trip meeting on Zoom on Thursday evening at 8:00pm.
