Join us for a half-day, beginner-friendly hike up Mt Wachusett on Sunday Sept 17!
The trail is 4.9 miles long, has 1150ft elevation gain, and should take about 3 hours (give or take) to complete.
Since the hike is pretty close (~1 hour drive), we will plan to leave MIT at 9:00am with an estimated return time between 2:00 and 3:00 pm.
There will be a pre-trip zoom meeting at 7pm on Thursday, Sept 14th.
Everyone is welcome to sign up, but we will prioritize current MIT undergrad and graduate students.
You don't need a car to join this trip, but please update your lottery preferences if you have access to a car or can rent one and are willing to drive others.
No fee is due to MITOC for this event, but expect to pay ~$10-20 for the rideshare.
