Join us on this local hike on the Blue Hills, just minutes south of Boston.

Logistics

We will hike the Skyline Trail, leaving from Cambridge at 8am on Saturday and planning on being back in the early afternoon.

The hike is 6.8 miles long with 1600' of elevation gain. We will shuttle one car to the arrival, so we don't need to hike out-and-back.

If on the trip, you'll receive an email with details on Wednesday. There will be a pre-trip zoom meeting on Thursday 9/7 at 8pm in which you can ask questions.

Sign-up information

This trip is part of MITOC's back-to-school initiative, everyone is welcome to signup but priority will be given to MIT undergrad and graduate students.

You don't need a car to join this trip, but please update your lottery preferences if you have access to a car or can rent one and are willing to drive others.

Plan on paying 5-15$ for the carshare. No fee is due to mitoc for this event.

• If the group is big enough to only fill one car, we will hike this loop instead.
• In case of rain we will reschedule to Sunday 9/10 or another suitable date
