Welcome to Climb-Fest 2: The Climbening

I'm happy to announce that we will host an official MITOC Climbers' Retreat on September 10th-11th!

This event will be a chance for climbers to get together in one place, meet new people, learn new skills, swap tales of epics, and eat delicious food! Engage in the age-old climbing tradition of recruiting a grizzled mentor to teach you how to place opposed micronuts, or find an energetic young mentee to hike your 20lb rope up the steep approach. Ascend a climb by moonlight. Have fun!

This event, like Acadia, will have self-organized trips. This means that climbers who aren't self-sufficient outdoors need to make plans with a group/mentor ahead of time; there are no guarantees that someone can take you climbing if you just show up. We will set up a rideshare and a way for mentees/mentors/groups to find each other and organize.

Get stoked!
