Why become a desk worker?
To earn desk credit that you can spend on MITOC portion of the trip fees (Acadia, circuses, etc.), gear and cabin rentals, and MITOC schwag
To get more involved in MITOC and help MITOCers get outside!
To interact with a broader MITOC community
To check out and return the gear on your own, avoid the queue at the desk.
This training will be held in the MITOC boathouse (N52, first floor, enter through the loading dock, https://goo.gl/maps/K7avhgVE7xoiPFgbA) from 5 - 6.30 pm on Wednesday, May 31st. Please bring a laptop or tablet (not just a phone) and try to arrive ~5 minutes early to get checked in.
We will cover rental policy and procedures, gear location in the office, difficult questions during office hours, and anything/everything else about desk shifts.
