Winter season is finally over! Come join us on an intermediate level hike in southern New Hampshire to climb Mount Monadnock, a popular and scenic mountain only 70 miles away from Boston.

The trail is 4.2 miles long with a 1,597 ft elevation gain. This is great for people who have some previous hiking experience, and also those with more experience looking to slowly warm their way back into 3-season hiking shape. We'll be hiking at a moderate pace, not too slow, not too fast.

We'll leave from MIT at 7am and drive up together. We will be sharing the cost of a Monadnock State Park parking pass ($16 per vehicle) as well as gas/driving costs. Mandatory pre-trip meeting is Thursday, May 18th at 6pm. Please let a leader know if you cannot make the meeting
