Were you unable to go to May Circus this weekend? Do you still want to do a great day hike on Sunday, driving up from Cambridge to meet up with some people coming from the circus for the hike?
Mt. Kearsarge is a very prominent isolated peak in southern New Hampshire, with a rocky summit with excellent views in all directions from its recently refurbished firetower! It is one of the most popular of the 52-With-A-View peaks. We will ascend via Lincoln Trail and descend via Barlow Trail, to traverse both sides of the mountain.
We'd leave Cambridge at 6:40am Sunday, meet the cars coming from circus at Blackwood Junction Restaurant in Andover, NH for a quick breakfast, and then proceed to the hike! NH Parks charges each person $4 for supporting maintenance of the park.
Route: 6.2 miles, 2200 ft. elevation gain, https://caltopo.com/m/KSMKU
If you can drive your own car or are willing to drive a rental car, edit the “Lottery preferences” on your MITOC profile to show this.
Note: This sign-up is only for people who are not going to May Circus at Camelot. (Edit: The participants coming from the circus were added later.)

Where are you coming from on Sunday: Cambridge, or somewhere else? (If the answer is Camelot, you should instead try to join this trip by attending the Saturday evening planning meeting at Camelot.)
