Our first beginner surfing trip is happening on Sunday, July 10. For this trip, we will go to Hampton Beach, New Hampshire. We will have a group lesson for 11 people from Cinnamon Rainbows Surf Co., where we will also rent surfboards and wetsuits. The 2h surfing lessons will start at 11 am, so we aim to leave campus around 9 am and expect to be back around 3-4 PM.

The trip will cost $30 per person, which includes transportation costs, surf lesson and gear rental. All you need to bring is your swimsuit, a towel, and something to eat/drink. To participate you will also need to sign up as MITOC member right here, if you haven't already.

As our program is funded through the Office of the Dean for Graduate Education, we will give preference to MIT graduate students, but anyone who is interested should still sign up.
