What makes this the smart choice? Smarts Mountain is one of the 52-With-A-View summits in the White Mountains. In fact, even among those, it is one of the summits with the best views, from the recently restored firetower at its summit! Also, it's not far from Camelot!
We'll do a loop, going up the Lambert Ridge Trail (part of the Appalachian Trail) and down the Ranger Trail, 7.5 miles with 2400 ft. elevation gain. We'll hike at a comfortable pace.
