Prerequisites
Experienced Top Rope belayer--No drops, knows how to belay on an ATC (and ideally a megajul)

So--It's gonna be a huge temperature swing between Saturday's freezing cold sadness and Sunday's sunny joy. That means we aren't totally sure about how the ice condies will shake out for Sunday. You should sign up for this trip if:

  • You identify as Woman, Non-binary. (Sorry, the position for 1 Frenchman has been filled.)

  • You want to try beginner / intermediate intro to ice climbing, but are okay if we switch plans and hike Kinsman trail instead. Lafayette campground --> Lonesome Lake / AMC hut --> North and maybe South Kinsman --> return the same route. See the trail description here

  • Ideally, you'd be down to sleep at Camelot Saturday evening. This will promote optimal bonding / joy + make logistics a bit easier. Not a requirement, but encouraged :)
