Saturday is cold, so so, cold. Do we really want to go outside? Would it be better to just have hot cocoa? Why not both?
Come with is for an easy hike around the Rock circuit trail in the Fells! This will be a 4.2 mile loop where we will practice staying up warm in very cold conditions. Temperatures show 10F before any wind chill. Bring all your layers and lets test what you've learn in Winter School without going too far from home.
This will be an afternoon trip (1pm to sunset) so no need to wake up early. The fells are also easily accessible by Orange line (though it's running shuttles this weekend), some will drive and some of us will be taking the T from MIT.
