Join us for a car-free trip to Middlesex Fells this Sunday! We will be doing a point-to-point hike through the Fells, accessible by the T on both ends. We will plan to meet at the Oak Grove T-stop (on the Orange Line) at 9am and hike along the Cross Fells trail to the west side of the reserve. From there we will make our way to the Mystic River and follow the river path down to Alewife Station at the end of the Red Line. In total it will be about 9ish miles and 800 feet of climbing. An approximate route is here.
More details regarding what to bring will follow, and keep your eye out for a pre-trip email. But plan on bringing plenty of snacks and perhaps a pack lunch to enjoy on the trail.
There will be a required pre-trip meeting on Thursday at 9 pm after the lecture. Feel free to reach out with any questions!
