Join us on a hike up Mount Tecumseh, the shortest of New Hampshire's 48 4000 footers!

This hike is 5.2 miles and just under 2300 feet of elevation gain. https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/new-hampshire/mount-tecumseh-trail-via-waterville-trailhead?search=true

This trip will be a good opportunity to practice winter hiking skills (traction, layering, eating/drinking, hopefully butt-sliding) to get ready for bigger trips later in winter school! It is appropriate for beginner and experienced winter hikers. Previous winter hiking experience is not required but 3-season hiking experience is beneficial and you must have attended this year's mandatory safety lectures.

There's currently rain and snow forecasted for the preceding days. We expect a mix of snow and ice, so microspikes will be required.

We will have a mandatory pre-trip meeting after Thursday's lecture to review gear and trip logistics.
