Are you checking off your list of 48? Do you like nature? Do you like the cold? Do you like cold nature? If you answer yes or no or maybe to any of these questions, this trip might be for you! Maybe :)

Mt Hale is one of the easier 4000 footers in the Whites, at 8.4 miles round trip, where 4 of which is on an access road (we can practice delayering, snacking and staying hydrated!!!). There will be a total of about 2300 ft of elevation gain on this hike after the nice gentle 2 mi warm up on the access road - it is a 4000 footer after all.

We will start at the Flatiron Trailhead (near where Zealand Rd intersects 302) to Hale Brook Trailhead. We'll then take the Hale Brook trail to Mt Hale summit.
