We're going to hike Mt Chocorua in the White Mountains. This is a great intro trip to going above treeline in the Whites for those who have been on a few Winter School hikes in the past (or similar equivalent experiences) and are looking to progress. Chocorua has exceptional 360 views in good weather.

The hike is 7.4 miles round-trip with 2200 ft of elevation gain. This is a moderate trip suitable for those with some winter hiking experience. We will be traveling above tree-line for the last stretch to the summit, so you will need to be comfortable with your layering and thermal management and able to achieve complete skin coverage.

The theme is "Chocolate on Chocorua" so please plan to bring something chocolatey to share! Chocolate bars, cookies, hot chocolate--we love it all! (Not required, but highly encouraged :)
