Want to be able to submit a reservation request to stay at Intervale? Attend the Intervale Keyholder training! Keyholder status lasts for two years after training and consists of joining us at the Intervale Cabin to do basic maintenance and learning Intervale rules.
The focus of the workday portion will be restocking the cabin.
Itinerary 10:00 Meet at parking area at (directions will be emailed out prior to the training)
10:00-13:30: Work on the property until the mid-afternoon
13:30-14:00: Folks will disperse for a quick lunch break. We will meet back together at 2pm.
14:30-16:00 Rules training
16:00 - folks who need to head back to Boston can depart, others can stay and help with the remaining work
18:00 - Josh will prepare Chocolate fondue and other treats for those who stick around to finish up the propane work with him.
By default, we will assume that you will not stay at the cabin in the evening, but participants can stay if they wish. Get in touch with Josh if you would like to stay.
Required Clothing We will be working outside in the cold. Please bring warm clothing, close-toed boots, and work gloves. You must also bring adequate traction for walking on snow and ice (ie microspikes). Expect to be outdoors standing in snow all day long and pack accordingly.
There is not any running water on the property. Plan accordingly.
Lunch will be provided. Josh will send an email about lunch closer to the event date.
