Want to help us fix broken gear & get ready for winter?

Examples of some tasks we might be working on:

  • De-sticking jammed crampons & tagging long vs short center bars
  • Testing and repairing stoves
  • Replacing tent pole elastics,
  • Making mix and match tent poles out of broken ones
  • Patching rainfly holes
  • Restocking tent stakes
  • Adding strap keepers to snowshoes
  • Sewing up ripped items
  • Engraving and tagging new gear
  • Re-numbering ski skins
  • Sharpening crampons and ice tools

If those things sound like fun, come to our gear repair party Wednesday Dec 7th, 6pm-9pm in the Mitoc Office!

We'll have a few pizzas to share.

Things to bring if you have them: Misc hand tools - pilers in particular, sewing things, N95+ masks and safety goggles for spray painting, work gloves if you want them
