Looking for a hike closer to home? Want to get some final hiking in before winter school? Then join us on Sunday for a hike in the Blue Hills.

We'll be following a loop in the Eastern section of the Blue Hills going along parts of the Skyline trail, Headquarters path, and Sawcut Notch path. It's a total of 7.4 miles with 1279ft of elevation. This is the perfect chance for those who want to practice longer hikes without too much elevation gain.

To capitalize on warmer weather later in the day, our plan is to be in the Blue Hills by 11am, so we'll take a stop for lunch at the top of one of the hills. AllTrails estimates it takes about three and a half hours to complete, so we should have you back home by 4pm.

Lottery for this hike will run on Wednesday at 5pm. If we get another driver sign up, we may expand the hike to allow more participants. Please be ready to attend a Thursday evening pre-trip meeting (or be ready to make arrangements with us to discuss the trip separately).
