Join us for a picturesque hike on one of the most photographed mountain in the world! Mount Chocorua is the easternmost peak of the Sandwich range, and its exposed ledges gives hikers panoramic views along various points of the trail.
We'll do some exposed scrambles to reach the top of neighboring Middle Sister, including spending time on Carter Ledge trail which is on the White Mountains Terrifying 25 list. Then we'll summit Chocorua and come down on a different set of trails. The total hike will be 9.5 miles with around 3200ft. elevation gain. https://caltopo.com/m/DAUPS
We will be moving at a pace on the fast side of moderate, and please be comfortable with heights/scrambling as there will be some exposed sections.
