"The loop over the Tripyramid slides is one of the most exciting and challenging hikes in the Whites", according to The 4000-footers of the White Mountains. It features a scramble up very steep rock slabs on the North Slide, and a descent on scree and loose gravel on the South Slide. Both slides are listed in the Terrifying 25. The route includes three pointy summits (as you may have guessed), two of them 4000-footers. Expect to use your hands a lot! If the rock slabs are wet, we'll ascend via a different route, for safety.

Route: 11 miles, 3000 ft. gain. The North Slide is only 0.5 mi. of this, but it gains 1000 ft. over that distance! https://caltopo.com/m/14FAF

There will be a pre-trip meeting Thursday June 23 at 8pm on Zoom.

The plan will be to leave early on Saturday morning. We'll hike at a comfortable pace.
