We have our circus coming up! But we need 3-season leaders to organize these trips and make more trips possible!
To become a first-time co-leader you will need to attend a very quick leader training and have gone on 2 MITOC Hiking trips. To become a leader we also ask that you co-lead 2 trips and have a leader submit a recommendation on your behalf. However, we may relax this a bit due to covid so we encourage folks with hiking and/or outdoor group management experience to apply for co-leader/leader ratings even if they have limited MITOC experience. If your application is not successful we encourage you to come on MITOC trips to get to know the club and gain more experience!“
To find more information about becoming a 3-season hiking leader see this link: https://mitoc.mit.edu/get-involved/become-3-season-leader.
The next 3-season leader training will be next week Tuesday May 10th 7-7:30pm on zoom—id: 287 475 7334 (hopefully the online format will allow for more people to attend). https://mit.zoom.us/j/2874757334?pwd=TTRETWpTcjZiYVRRcnBuWVJkR3dyUT09

If you can't make it please email me with times/days that work best for you and whether you'd prefer in person or virtual. I meant to do this training in person, but with the covid spike on campus I think this is preferred. Also please email me if you have any questions or concerns.
Yayyyy!
