We’ll hike up Mt. Moriah, a 4000-footer with multiple views in different directions: west to the Presidential Range, south to the Carter Range, and east to the Wild River Wilderness, along the hike and at the summit! It is the easternmost of the NH high peaks. Each route to this summit has its own challenges, such as stream crossings and steep ledges, and we will select based on the weather. We expect plenty of snow and ice at the upper elevations.
The hike will be approximately 10 miles with at least 3150 ft. of elevation gain. https://caltopo.com/m/U0Q44
We're planning to leave Cambridge early Sunday morning and start driving back before sunset.
Required pre-trip meeting: Thursday, April 14 at 6:30pm outside the Student Center.
