It is about time for some 3-season hiking! But we need 3-season leaders to organize these trips and make this possible!

To become a first-time co-leader/leader you will need to attend a very quick leader training and have gone on 2 MITOC Hiking trips. However, we may relax this a bit due to covid so we encourage folks with hiking and/or outdoor group management experience to apply for co-leader ratings even if they have not attended MITOC trips before. Even if your application is not successful we encourage you to come on MITOC trips to get to know the club and gain more experience!“

To find more information about becoming a 3-season hiking leader see this link: https://mitoc.mit.edu/get-involved/become-3-season-leader.

The next 3-season leader training will be next week Thursday April 14th 9-9:30pm on zoom—id: 287 475 7334 (hopefully the online format will allow for more people to attend). https://mit.zoom.us/j/2874757334?pwd=TTRETWpTcjZiYVRRcnBuWVJkR3dyUT09

If you can't make it please email me with times/days that work best for you and whether you'd prefer in person or virtual. I'm planning to have another training in person, in about a month or so as well. Also please email me if you have any questions or concerns.

Yayyyy!
