What

Join us for a sweet beginner friendly hike at Middlesex Fells this Saturday! We’ve got our eye on Rock Circuit Trail with an option to tack on Sheepfold Path Loop for a beautiful 4-6 mile loop with minimal elevation gain. It’ll be a cold one - projected sunny 13°F - so we’ll practice layering and also practice sipping some hot beverages warmed on the stove. yum!

When and Where

We’ll plan to meet around Oak Grove T station at 10 am (accessible by the orange line & ride sharing apps). The idea is to finish up by 1 or 2 at the latest.

General Requirements

Let’s bring food, warm water, some favorite snacks, hiking boots, and plenty of appropriate layers (no cotton). We'll not need special traction (spikes, crampons) for the hike unless the weather forecast changes.

Logistics

There’ll be a virtual pre-trip meeting Thursday @ 6 with details sent out after signups. Our meeting point (Oak Grove T station) is accessible by the orange line and ride-sharing apps. For those who require it we can work on coordinating rides.
