Join Shayna, Katia and Grady for a beginner-level local (Boston area) cross-country skiing trip. We shall meet at Weston Ski track (20 min drive from MIT campus) at 10am on Saturday, Jan. 15, for a chill ~2-hour skiing along the groomed track. Weston track is a great place to learn and to try cross-country skiing for the first time!
There will be an in-person pre-trip meeting on Thursday before the lecture in the MITOC office, where we shall help you fit/check out the gear (skis/boots/poles) and discuss the trip.
We shall set up the rideshare for those who need it.
Estimated trip cost is $20 (MITOC trip fee of $5 plus $15 of gear), plus an additional separate $13 fee for a trail pass at Weston ski track. We shall reserve the passes for all the participants ahead of time.
