Prerequisites
Experience on similarly difficult 3-season or winter hikes; fitness commensurate with 3600 feet of elevation gain

We'll be heading to the White Mountains for a lovely hike up to North Kinsman! This will be on the upper end of a moderate level trip with 9 miles roundtrip and 3600 feet of elevation gain. Because this is a lot of elevation, we are looking for participants who have experience on similarly difficult 3 season or winter hikes.

We'll start at the Mt. Kinsman Trailhead off of 116, and then head up to North Kinsman Peak, with stops for fantastic views off Bald Peak (a 52 WAV) and Kinsman Pond. If the weather holds clear, we should get lovely views from the upper reaches of the trail and the summit also. We'll then trace our steps back to the start. Saturday is currently forecasted to be beautiful but very cold, so please bring plenty of layers!

We'll bring some nutella that you can spread on any snacks you bring!

If you are not willing to drive with other people in your car, please update your lottery preferences as "not driving".
