Please note - The Gear Sale is from 6:30 - 7:30pm!!

After the first lecture of Winter School, folks are probably going to want to make sure they have all the appropriate clothing and gear they need to do their trips! Let's have a gear sale to help with that! (Remember, the optimal gear amount is n+1!).

This is an in person event to be held at the MITOC office. Therefore all attendees MUST register for this event here on the MITOC Trip Page + sign up for a Tim Ticket

A reminder - You will be required to complete a Daily Attestation to access your TIM ticket. This can take up to 20-30 mins to clear. Please complete your attestation earlier in the day to make sure you're not waiting at 6:30 for your attestation to clear in order to check in!

The MITOC office is in room W20-461, on the fourth floor of Stratton Student Center (84 Massachusetts Ave.)

If you have something too big to bring into the office or you want to start posting your stuff early so folks can browse it, we have an optional Google Spreadheet available for your use. Google Spreadheet available for your use.

For Sellers:

Sort your gear - Please sell gear that is in reasonably clean and in safe** working condition. If it is being sold as a broken item or incomplete set please be sure to disclose this.

Label the gear with price tags - Tape, sticky notes, up to you, but having it labeled makes the whole process go MUCH smoother!

If using the spreadsheet - List your items, up to you whether to take photos. If you choose to include photos, pro tip is to have the price tag in the photo.
