Come join us on Thursday October 22 for a Virtual Return of the Slideshows! We will gather on Zoom at 6:30pm to

A) Celebrate the life and times of Ben Kessel and

B) Tell other tales of travel that affirm the adventurous spirit of life.

(1) Everyone submitting a receipt needs to fill out the Google Form found at https://mitoc.mit.edu/about/get-reimbursed. Categorize this expense as “Social, Trip Report, "

(2a) MIT affiliates follow the steps listed under "Other non-travel (e.g. gear, food) - with MIT certificates” on that page to submit an RFP through ATLAS. In the “Explanation” field say “Ben Kessel Adventure Slideshow”, list the names of everyone the order was for, and explicitly say that you all live together.

(2b) Non-affiliates need to email MITOC-Trez with the receipt and a mailing address for a check. Also include a list of everyone the order was for.

Kessel Hammock Hang - We are also hosting the first annual Kessel Hammock Hang the weekend of October 24-25. We invite you to hang up your hammock wherever you may be and take a moment to soak up life. Please feel free to share google photos of your escapades in the shared Google Photo Album

There will also be an accompanying Strava group --for those who wish to compete in moving the least amount of distance over a maximum amount of time.

Categories for Winners include:

• Longest time in a hammock

• Least distance traveled

• Most scenic view

• Most people in one hammock

• Most delicious hammock beverage

• ...really, everyone wins because you're in a hammock ^__^
