Let’s get together and learn more about diversity, equity, and inclusion in the outdoors! We invite MITOC leaders or those interested in becoming MITOC leaders to gather virtually for a 4 session discussion group on these issues.
Goals:
Identify and examine systematic barriers to outdoor access
Listen and learn from BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) experiences of the outdoors
Recognize the perspectives and privilege that we, as leaders, bring to our community
Reflect on how to create affirming, accessible experiences for all MITOC participants and community members moving forward
4 meetups - Wednesdays, 6-7pm EST
