We're tired of cute alliterative trip names. We just want to hike.
We'll be doing a nice hard loop up Lion's head and down Boott Spur hitting Washington and Monroe on the way. Here's the map. It's 10 miles, 5000 feet elevation gain, and nearly 6 miles above treeline.
This trail has a section of very steep snow climbing, so you should be comfortable on steep terrain in crampons.
