Prerequisites
Applied & accepted to ice cohort only

Only for members of the ice climbing cohort that have applied & been accepted. The leaders will manually add all participants and no signups will go through.

For day 1 of the cohort we will go to Trollville or Champney falls and work on skills. This will include tope rope anchor rigging as well as climbing technique. The ice took a big hit last weekend so we might get to do some drytooling too. If you have a separate set of picks/frontpoints for drytooling, bring that, I would recommend NOT bringing your nice pointy new ice-only gear. We will also talk about how weather affects ice conditions and how to evaluate the safety of a climb.
