We’ll be heading up into the Mt Cardigan for one day of exploring this Saturday (Jan 11) - a good chance to sharpen your winter hike skills while enjoying great views!
Total distance of ~7.3 miles, elevation gain of ~2700 ft.
While Cardigan is relatively low in altitude (less than 3200ft), it is very exposed and is a great exercise for above treeline travel.
Rain/snow is forecasted so waterproof clothings are required. Due to expected high winds, ski goggles and full face covering are also strongly recommended
