Come join us for a fun, early winter hike up Jenning's Peak in the Sandwich Range. The hike involves approximately 2,200 feet of elevation gain and 6.3 miles of total distance over easy to moderate terrain up the Sandwich Mountain trail. From the summit we may have views of the surrounding Sandwich Range mountains and the Waterville Valley ski area.

The weather forecast indicates high winds, so we may not end up on the exposed peak. There are several water crossings, if those become unpassable due to the rain, we will turn back.

Goals will be to practice basic winter hiking skills including heat management, hydration & nutrition, taking efficient breaks, and the use of microspikes.
