This is a hike up the four peaks of the Wildcat ridge, which offers excellent views of the Presidentials and an opportunity to learn and practice crampon skills.
The Wildcat ridge trail is extremely steep, and the new 3-5" of snow will make it even more challenging. This will be an opportunity to practice using crampons and ice axe to ascend steep snow.
8.5mi, 2500' elevation gain.
